Rend Lake College Athletics issued the following announcement on Sept. 21
Want to get a head start on the spring season? Rend Lake College is partnering with three other area community colleges to provide a JUCO Softball Skills Camp this fall.
The camp will be held at Ray Fosse Park in Marion on Sunday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The one-day event invites high school players to come out and learn new ways to improve their game before next season.
Cost is $50 for an individual player or $450 for a team of 10. Other colleges participating in the camp include Shawnee Community College, Southeastern Illinois College and Wabash Valley College.
