Woodlawn Unit School District #209 Board of Education met November 4.

Here is the agenda as provided by the board:

I. Call to Order

II. Roll Call

III. Visitor Communication (15 Minute Time Limit)

IV. Approve WGS Roof Bid

V. Consideration and action on a resolution providing for the issue of $4,057,000 General Obligation Limited Tax School Bonds, Series 2021A, for the purpose of increasing the District’s Working Cash Fund, providing for the levy of taxes to pay said bonds, and authorizing the sale of said bonds to the purchaser thereof

VI. Consideration and action on a resolution providing for the issue of $70,400 General Obligation Refunding School Bonds, Series 2021B, for the purpose of refunding certain outstanding bonds of the District, providing for the levy of taxes to pay said bonds, and authorizing the sale of said bonds to the purchaser thereof

VII. Closed Session

      1. For the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity and Collective negotiations matters between the school board and its employees and student discipline. (5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1))

      1. Approve WHS Volunteer Basketball Coach
