Q1 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jefferson County?

There were 23 offenders living in Jefferson County released on parole during the first quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Egypt News.

The data shows 15 men and eight women were released in Jefferson County. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2020, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Timothy J. Hill. He was convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2015 when he was 35 years old. He is now 41.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2021 in each Jefferson County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
