Q2 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Franklin County?

There were 14 offenders living in Franklin County released on parole during the second quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Egypt News.

The data shows 10 men and four women were released in Franklin County. The median age of the parolees was 43. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2020, and the oldest was a 65-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2020.

The offender incarcerated the longest was David A. Brown. He was convicted of a property crime in 2018 when he was 38 years old. He is now 42.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2021 in each Franklin County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
