Report: Christopher School District spent $10,196 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Christopher Community Unit School District 99 was down 0.1 percent from five years ago, according to the North Egypt News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Franklin County school district spent $10,207 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,196 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 810 to 752 students over the same period.

Christopher's spending in 2019-20 was 29.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
