The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's track and field team wrapped up the Crossroads League Indoor Championships, hosted by Taylor University on Saturday, February 19.
MVNU made a stronger push in the second day of competition, finishing in seventh with 48.50 points
Top Performers
Kyler Dickey claimed the conference championship in the shot put. The senior from Dover, Ohio won the competition with an "A" Standard throw of 16.66m. This is the third indoor shot put championship of Dickey's career.
Jaden Haldeman placed second for an All-Conference spot in the Heptathlon and hit the "B" Standard with 4351 total points.
Erich Rhodeback claimed All-Conference honors in the 60m hurdles with a third place finish. Rhodeback had a "B" Standard time of 8.29 seconds.
The 4x400m relay team of Marcus Whaley, Liam Near, Jaden Haldeman, and Rhodeback placed third with a time of 3:24.68. The third place finish gives the group All-Conference honors.

MVNU's national qualifiers will now prepare for the NAIA Indoor National Championships in Brookings, South Dakota on March 3.
