A special board meeting was held on August 8, 2022 at the high school. The meeting was called to order by Jeff Burkett at 6:00 pm. Roll Call was taken with the above members present. Also Present: Eric Helbig and Brian Gamber
Visitor Communication: None
A motion was made by Michele Chesnek and seconded by Leslie Knox to go into closed session at 6:02 pm
Members voted: Dianne Fritschle, yes; Kyle Ritchey, yes; Jeff Burkett, yes; Michele Chesnek, yes; Chad Phelps; Leslie Knox; yes
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Michele Chesnek and seconded by Dianne Fritschle into open session at 7:38 pm

Motion carried.
A motion was made by Leslie Knox and seconded by Dianne Fritschle to accept the resignation of Dawson Verhines as WHS PE teacher and head WHS boys basketball coach, effective immediately.
All members present voted yes by a roll call vote. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Chad Phelps and seconded by Leslie Knox to hire Brittany Fields as WGS paraprofessional at step 0.

Motion carried.
No action was taken on items: hire WHS PE teacher, hire WHS head boys basketball coach. A special meeting date was set for Monday August 8, 2022.
