The Board of Education of the Benton Consolidated High School District #103 met in Special Session on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. in the District Board Room. President, Robin LaBuwi called the meeting to order.
Mr. Johnson opened in prayer and Kenny Irvin led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Board members present: Robin LaBuwi, President; Marci Glover, Vice-President; Mitch Bennett, Secretary; Shane Cockrum, and Kenny Irvin. Board members absent: Mark Dyel and Robby Cockrum.
Others present: Benjamin Johnson, Superintendent; Sean Docherty, Principal; and Ron Giacone, Board Attorney.
4. Comments from Visitors
5. Review/Approve Learning Continuity Plan for SY2022-23 Kenny Irvin made a motion to approve the learning continuity plan for the 2022-23 school year as presented. Shane Cockrum seconded the motion. Upon a roll call vote, all members present voted yes. Motion carried.
Robby Cockrum entered the meeting at 4:06 P.M.
6. Review/Approve Proposal to Participate in Benton Reality Show
7. ADJOURNMENT Shane Cockrum made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:30 P.M. Kenny Irvin seconded the motion. Upon a roll call vote, all members present voted yes. Motion carried.
