LADY COUGARS SWEEP GOSHEN ON SENIOR NIGHT

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (23-6, 8-6 CL) defeated Goshen College (2-27, 0-14 CL) in three sets on Friday evening, October 21 in Ariel Arena.

It was a special night as MVNU honored seniors Paige Brenner, Molly Galaszewski, Erica Gasser, Ashley Stumperth, and Emma Warkall. The Lady Cougars won the first set by a score of 25-17, set two by a score of 25-9, and took the third set 25-13.

Inside the Box Score

Stumperth led the team with 15 kills. She added 10 digs and three assists. Gasser added 10 kills.

Brenner picked up 34 assists, adding 10 digs and four kills.

Galaszewski led the team in digs with 14 and added four assists.

Jaelyn Tang and Reagan Nuss each had eight digs on the night. Tang had four kills, while Nuss contributed three.

What's Next

The Lady Cougars are back in action on Saturday, October 22 as they host RV Bethel University at 3:00pm in Ariel Arena.
