A regular board meeting was held on November 17, 2022 at the high school. The meeting was called to order by Chad Phelps at 6:00 pm. Roll Call was taken with the above members present. A motion was made by Leslie Knox and seconded by Kyle Ritchey to approve consent agenda items as presented.
All members present voted yes by a roll call vote.

A motion was made by Dianne Fritschle and seconded by Michele Chesnek to go into closed session at 6:05 p.m. for the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity (5 ILCS 120/2 © (1) and Collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. (5 ILCS 120/2 ©, (2)).

Item VII 5. Accept resignations was tabled.
A motion was made by Dianne Fritschle and seconded by Michele Chesnek to hire WHS volunteer bowling coach Terrence Hopper.

A motion was made by Michele Chesnek and seconded by Leslie Knox to hire Chris Webb as the Law Enforcement Teacher, beginning in January, at step 0 on 1/8 teacher salary. All members present voted yes by a roll call vote.

Item VII 9 Approve Johannes Construction Pay App #4 was tabled
A motion was made by Dianne Fritschle and seconded by Michele Chesnek to approve the Glandt Roofing pay app #2 in the amount of $32725.80.
All members present voted yes by a roll call vote.

A motion was made by Leslie Knox and seconded by Kyle Ritchey to approve the tentative 2023 tax levy for the Woodlawn High School only district at 6.99.
All members present voted yes by a roll call vote.

A motion as made by Kyle Ritchey and seconded by Michele Chesnek to approve the tentative 2023 tax levy for the Woodlawn Grade School only district at 6.56.
All members present voted yes by a roll call vote.

A motion was made by Michele Chenek and seconded by Dianne Fritschle to approve the tentative 2023 tax levy for Woodlawn Unit school district at 8.81.
