State Rep. Dave Severin (R-Benton) showed his appreciation of his supporters by hosting a luncheon to thank them as he begins his fourth term as a state representative.
Severin shared pictures of the event in a Jan. 22 Facebook post.
"Today, I welcomed members of the Severin Century Club to Benton at La Galerie to enjoy a special Sunday Appreciation Lunch Event to give thanks to the bedrock supporters of my campaign. I could literally not do this without the support of so many generous, engaged, and hard-working volunteers and friends," Severin wrote in the post.
Severin has served in the State House of Representatives since 2017. His legislative experience includes serving on the Judiciary - Criminal, and Mental Health & Addiction committees.
Severin ran unopposed to represent the state's 116th House District in the November 2022 general election.
Severin's district and its boundaries changed during redistricting.
Severin was sworn in on Jan. 11. In a statement released to his website that day, he said: “As I take over as the State Representative of a new territory, the people that I will serve as 116th district State Representative should know that I have a record of protecting the right to life, opposing radical abortion laws, opposing radical gun control laws, and rejecting laws that have crippled our energy grid and caused our energy bills to spike out of control."
