The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team (13-12, 6-9 CL) defeated RV Bethel University (16-10, 8-8 CL) by a score of 108-90 on Wednesday evening, February 8 in Ariel Arena.
Both teams' offenses were operating well all game and fans were treated to a high scoring affair. The Cougars had one of their best offensive nights of the season as they shot 61% (36-59) from the field and a whopping 65.2% (15-23) from three-point range. Up by seven at the half, the Cougars outscored the Pilots by 11 in the second half to seal the much-needed Crossroads League victory as the season winds down.
