A regular board meeting was held on June 15, 2023 at the high school. The meeting was called to order by Jeff Burkett at 6:00 pm. Roll Call was taken with the above members present. Also Present: Eric Helbig, Sara Hays, Brian Gamber, Sandra Kabat, Lynette Leffler, Amy Orrill, Katie Schrementi, Jessica Clark
A motion was made by Chase Phelps and seconded by Jacob Frick to open the amended budget hearing.

Visitor Communication:
Amy Orrill asked what the event coordinator job duties would be. Mr Helbig said it would be discussed with all staff at the beginning of the school year.
Jessica Clark introduced herself to the board as a potential new mus A motion was made by Michele Chesnek and seconded by Kyle Ritchey to go into closed session at 6:09 p.m. for the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity (5 ILCS 120/2 © (1) and Collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. (5 ILCS 120/2 ©, (2)).

Item IX 5. Approve reading recovery teacher agreement was tabled.
A motion was made by Michele Chesnek and seconded by Josh Trout to hire temporary with full-time status starting August 11, 2023: Tim Brendel as head custodian on Step 7B, Ty Coleman as custodian on Step 0A and Ethan Watson as custodian on Step 2A.
All member present voted yes by a roll call vote.

Item IX 7. Hire Paraprofessionals was tabled.
A motion was made by Kyle Ritchey and seconded by Michele Chesnek to approve the purchase of 90 chromebooks and licenses from QNS for $32,462.10; with $27,132 reimbursed with a digital equity grant.
All members present voted yes by a roll call vote.
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kyle Ritchey and seconded by Michele Chesnek to approve the fiscal year 2024 insurance renewal.
