There were 248 white students enrolled in Summersville School District 79 in the 2021-22 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Summersville School District 79 welcomed 283 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 88.6% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Summersville School District 79 roughly covers schools within Jefferson County and has a main office in Mount Vernon.

Summersville Grade School is the only one school in the Summersville School District 79 that recorded enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 248 students.
