A. Call to Order and Roll Call of the November 2023 Regular Board of Education Meeting

B. Opportunity for Public Comment:

(We would like to welcome our guests this evening. We would like to remind our guests that the School Board Meeting is a meeting held in public, not a public meeting. The Board invites public comment during this portion of the meeting. Our guests are asked to please be respectful of both time and dif ering opinions. When directed by the Board President, persons should stand, state their name, and begin their statements. Guests must refrain from making any personal comments regarding any individual. Guests are asked to limit comments made to the Board of Education to no more than five minutes. You are welcome to yield portions of your remaining time to someone else to complete their remarks to the Board of Education. Please be aware that the Board of Education may not respond to public comments.)

2. Action Item: Consider approval of the FY23 Audit, including the Single Audit, by Kujawa & Batteau, PC.

3. Action Item: Consider approval of the Bluford USD #318 Risk Management Plan.

4. Action Item: Consider approval of the 2023 Tentative Tax Levy for the Grade School, High School, and Unit.

5. Action Item: Consider the recommendation to set the 2023 Tax Levy Hearing for December 19, 2023 at 5:45PM for the GS Levy, 5:50PM HS Levy, and 5:55PM for the Unit Levy in the BUSD District Office.

6. Action Item: Consider approval to apply for the 2024 Property Tax Relief Grant.

7. Action Item: Consider approval to declare district equipment as surplus, as presented.

8. Action Item: Consider approval of AJD Consulting as ERATE consultants for BUSD #318.

To consider information regarding collective bargaining matters, the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)(2).

1. Consider the acceptance of the letter of resignation from a non-certified employee.

2. Consider the acceptance of the letter of retirement from a non-certified employee.

3. Consider approval of Volunteer Athletic Coaches for the 2023-2024 Season.

4. Consider the employment of an EOC aide for Bluford Grade School.

5. Consider the employment of a High School Secretary.

6. Consider the employment of a Full-Time Custodian.
