Bluford Unit School District 318 Board of Education mdt Oct. 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Board President Jenny Sneed called the regular meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. Upon roll call the following members were present: Katilyn Lewis, Monica Marlow, Doug Shafer, and Angela Schrum. Jessica Case arrived at 7:17 p.m. Superintendent Adam Cross, Principals, Amanda Strohschein, and Ryan Robinson. Visitors were Jackson Pierce, Ashly Snow, April Flexter, Stephanie Wilson, Michelle Marlow, and Marina Baine.

Motion: Schrum-"to approve consent agenda with modification to clarify clerical error in payroll."

Second: Shafer

Action: Roll Call Vote: Lewis, M. Marlow, Shafer, Schrum and Sneed. MOTION CARRIED.

Superintendent's report was discussed along with principal and maintenance reports.

Motion: Lewis-"to approve FMLA request from Emily Schumm."

Second: Schrum

Action: Roll Call Vote: Lewis, M. Marlow, Shafer, Schrum and Sneed. MOTION CARRIED.

Motion: Schrum-"to go to executive session at 6:20 p.m."

Second: Shafer

Action: Voice Vote: All Yeas: MOTOIN CARRIED.

Motion: Shafer-"to come out of executive session at 7:31 p.m."

Second: Lewis

Action: Voice Vote: All Yeas: MOTOIN CARRIED.

Motion: Shafer-"to accept resignation from Durenda Galloway as Full time bus driver effective October 20, 2023."

Second: Case

Action: Roll Call Vote: Lewis, M. Marlow, Shafer, Schrum and Sneed. MOTION CARRIED.

Motion: Schrum-"to approve winter/spring sports for 2023-24
