City Of West Frankfort City Council Met March 28.
Here Are The Minutes Provided By The Council:
1. Mayor Arview Called The Meeting To Order At 10:00 A.M.
Requesting A Roll Call. All Commissioners Were In Attendance Including, The City Clerk.
2. The Mayor And Commissioners Of The City Of West Frankfort Have Called For This Special Meeting At City Hall Located At 605 West Main Street, Thursday, March 28, 2024 At 10 A.M. The Purpose Of This Meeting Is To Discuss Personnel.
3. The Next Item Was Approval To Go Into Executive Session To Discuss For Discussions Pursuant To 5 Ilcs 120/2 (C) (1). I Entertain A Motion To Go Into Executive Session At 10:02 A.M.
Commissioner Harkins Made A Motion For Approval, Seconded By Commissioner Stanley. Roll Call Vote: All Commissioners And Mayor Arview Voted To Approve. Motion Carried.
4. The Next Item Was Approval To Return To Open Session At 11:39 A.M. Commissioner Harkins Made A Motion For Approval, Seconded By Commissioner Stanley. Roll Call Vote: All Commissioners And Mayor Arview Voted To Approve. Motion Carried.
5. The Next Item Was Discussion, With Possible Action, Regarding Pay Increase For Department Heads. The Mayor Stated I Propose A 5% Pay Increase For The Fire Chief, Police Chief, Water Superintendent, And Street Superintendent. Commissioner Howard Made A Motion For Approval, Seconded By Commissioner Stanley. Roll Call Vote: All Commissioners And Mayor Arview Voted To Approve. Motion Carried.
6. The Next Item Was Public Comments: No Public Comments Were Made.
7. With No Further Business To Be Discussed, The Meeting Was Adjourned On A Motion By Commissioner Harkins At 11:42 A.M. Mayor, Tim Arview
