Bluford Unit School District 318 Board of Education met April 18.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Vice President Katlyn Lewis called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Upon roll call the following members were present: Crystal Marlow, Jessica Case, Monica Marlow and Angela Schrum. Superintendent Adam Cross, Principals Amanda Strothschien and Ryan Robinson, Kim McCormick were present. Visitors were April Flexter.

Motion: Schrum- "to approve consent agenda."

Second: Case

Action: Roll Call Vote: Yeas: C. Marlow, Case, M. Marlow, Schrum, and Lewis. MOTION CARRIED.

Superintendent's and Principals were discussed. No old business.

Motion: Case- "to approve the Regular Board Meeting Dates and the Fy 2025 Budget hearing for the 2024-25 school year as presented.

Motion: C. Marlow - "to approve the FY25 Consolidated District Plan as presented."

Motion: Schrum- "to approve first reading of Board Policy update from March 2024 Press Plus Update 114 as presented."

Motion: C. Marlow - "to post for bids for FY2025 Milk/Dairy and fuel.”

Motion: C. Marlow - "to approve adult meal prices for 2024-25 school year as $3.00 breakfast and $4.00 for lunch."

Motion: C. Marlow-to accept the letter of resignation from Bob Hamerki as Jr. High Bowling coach effective immediately.

Motion: C. Marlow- "to hire Jaxon Helm as Jr. High Math Teacher at BUSD for the 2024-25 school year, pending certification."

Motion: Case- "to hire Amanda Korte as Jr. High Assistant Girls Basketball coach for the 2024-25 season."
