Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ college team won in NCAA Division III baseball game on Saturday, April 5

On Saturday, April 5, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Knox Prairie Fire.

The game took place at Blodgett Field. This was their second matchup against the Fire this season.

The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Blodgett Field against Knox Prairie Fire.
