On Sunday, March 30, former Mount Vernon High School standout Tyler Kemp’s current college team, the Knox Prairie Fire, lost 16-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Ripon Red Hawks.

The game took place at Blodgett Field. This was their third matchup against the Red Hawks this season.

The Fire’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at Blodgett Field against Illinois Blue Boys.
