Jefferson County Historical Village and Museum issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
The 2018 Candlelight Walk at the Jefferson County Historical Village was cool, dark, and enjoyed by most of the nearly 400 visitors taking the tour on the evening of November 3.
Starting the adventure after entering the village from the 27th Street parking lot looked something like this:
Entering the scene from the Caroline Street overflow parking lot took a bit longer walk and looked something like:
About midway around the walk from either direction, you had this view of the church, jail, and school. All the buildings along the way were occupied by docents in period costumes to entertain and/or inform visitors

Everybody wound down the evening inside the Schweinfurth Museum warming up with hot cider and selections from a large assortment of cookies, gingerbread, brownies, ….
