Akin Community Consolidated School District 91 Board met Oct. 22.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER

2. ROLL CALL:

D. Clark, K. Pemberton, J. Wilkerson, J. Carlton and D. Shelton.

Absent: S.Wilson and S.Sniderwin

3. Audience Participation: (limited to a total of 10 minutes unless extended by the board).

Attendees included: none

4. A motion is hereby made by J.Wilkerson to enter into closed session for the purpose of considering information regarding collective bargaining, the appointment, evaluation, performance, employment and/or dismissal of personnel and student disciplinary actions.

Seconded by: J. Carlton.

Role call vote: All Voted Yes

Closed Session began at 6:02 p.m.

A Motion is made by J.Wilkerson to end closed session 6:31 p.m.

5. * A motion is made by J. Wilkerson to approve a Consent Agenda: which includes: the regular board of education minutes from previous meeting/s and the treasurer’s report/activity fund report.

ACTION ITEMS

6. New Business:

6a. A motion is made by D. Clark to approve Annual Financial Report.

Seconded by J.Wilkerson

6b. A motion is made by D.Clark to approve Tammy McCollum, Superintendent of Akin Grade School to conduct business on behalf of Akin CCSD #91. (To be added to checking/saving accounts).

11. A motion is hereby made D.Clark to adjourn the regular meeting of the Akin board of education at 6:34 pm. The next meeting will be held on November 26, 2018.
