City of Mt. Vernon issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Santa's Cottage, December 22, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. We are celebrating the last Saturday before Christmas by throwing a party with Santa's Cottage. Party Town Pro Sound & Lights will be playing your favorite songs with their spectacular light show. We will hand out free popcorn until we run out and give away prizes throughout the night. We'll even have a Dance contest for the kids. We are also bringing some special guests with us from a Galaxy Far, Far Away.
