Benton Chamber Of Commerce Inc issued the following announcement on April 10.
Dr. Childers is a firm believer in giving back to the community. He founded the Southern Illinois chapter of Smile for a Lifetime. It is a nonprofit organization that provides orthodontic treatment to patients who would otherwise not be able to receive orthodontic care. He also support others in their pursuit of higher education by Offering academic scholarships to two Southern Illinois students each year. Dr Childers is also s sponsors of the Rend Lake College Theater program. I could go on and on about all of the events and programs he host for his patients. I am not sure that there is a child in all of Southern Illinois that doesn't know who Dr. Childers is.
