City of Mt. Vernon Secretary in the Parks and Recreation Department. Starting rate: $11.00 per hour. Two years responsible clerical experience and public contact responsibilities. Proficient knowledge of MS programs and office management involving payroll, accounts payable, graphic design, website maintenance, and facility scheduling. EEO/ADA Employer. Residency within Jefferson County, Illinois is required within 6 months of employment. Applicants must be able to pass background/credit checks and medical assessment with drug screen.
