SSM Health Medical Group-Illinois is excited to announce the addition of Marc Sabatino, DO, to its specialty care medical team. Dr. Sabatino specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Sabatino provides care for patients in an inpatient rehab setting who have experienced the following:
• Amputation
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Spinal cord injury
• Total knee and hip replacement
• Traumatic brain injury
Dr. Sabatino also specializes in the following outpatient services:
• Acupuncture
• Botox treatment for pain (including migraines)
• Peripheral join injections
• Spasticity treatment
• Sports medicine
• Trigger point injections
Dr. Sabatino’s practice is part of the SSM Health Medical Group, Suite 420, 2 Good Samaritan Way, Mt. Vernon (62864).

Dr. Sabatino graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (Old Westbury, NY). He completed his internal medicine internship at the National Naval Medical Center (Bethesda, MD) and then went on to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan.
Dr. Sabatino honorably served in the United States Navy for five (5) years as a physician alongside the United States Marine Corps. He also served in Afghanistan during combat operations for the “Operation: Enduring Freedom” campaign in 2010.
