There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62893, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Egypt News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 35-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 6 years in prison for a property crime in 2017 when he was 32 years old.
