City of Zeigler issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
Classmates please come celebrate our 40th Class Reunion with us. We are planning a fun filled weekend of events.
*On Friday September 27 from 5pm til 10pm Billy Fann will be hosting a Bon-fire at his house.4634 Blackbird Road in Mulkeytown. Hamburgers, hot-dogs, chips, and munchies will be provided. We ask that you bring your own beverages and lawn chairs. This will be adults only. Port a Potty on site and donations will be accepted to off-set the cost.
*Saturday September 28th we will meet at JT's on the Hill, 701 Baggott St. Zeigler, IL.for cocktails 5pm and then dinner will be served at 6pm. The buffet style menu will be Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green-beans with bacon, spaghetti and meatballs, house salad and rolls. Soft drinks and gratuity is included in the cost of $17.00 per person. We will be in the private whiskey room and a cash bar will be available. Adults only!
Afterwards we will be going to the Zeigler Eagles Club, 114 N. Main St. for dancing and visiting. This will be open to the public and we urge other Zeigler-Royalton Alumni to join us. Jimmy James DJ & Karaoke will be our entertainment.

Sunday September 29th from 2pm til 8pm we will be gathering at Walkers Bluff Winery, the tasting room. Family, friends and children are invited to this event. Come and enjoy your favorite beverage, listen to some good music and order food off the menu if you choose. Alumni from other years are invited to this event also.
We hope you will join us for this fun filled weekend of events. I apologize for such short notice I was not sure I could pull this off but did not want to let you all down.
