Field Community Consolidated School District #3 Board of Education met Feb. 18.

Chris Hayes called the meeting to order at 7:12 PM. Schnautz made a motion to approve the consent agenda which included the minutes of the previous meeting and bills totaling $211,929.46. Mullinax seconded the motion.

There was no public input.
Principal Arnold gave a report on discipline. There was no board action.
Superintendent Stone gave a report on repairs to the spare bus and bus 16. There was no board action.
Mowing and bush hogging bids were opened for the school grounds. Bids were reviewed and the issue was tabled until the March Board Meeting.
Superintendent Stone reviewed the Annual Health Life Safety Visit from the ROE and the Fire Marshall. No board action was required.
Wheeler made a motion to amend the 2019-2020 school calendar to include a snow day that was used on November 12th, 2019. Staley seconded the motion. Motion passed without opposition.
Schnautz made a motion to appoint Wayne Stone as the FOIA officer. Mullinax seconded the motion. Motion passed without opposition.
Wheeler made a motion to appoint Wayne Stone as the OMA officer. Mullinax seconded the motion. Motion passed without opposition.
Wheeler made a motion to install CAT 6 Ethernet Cable at a cost of $12,241.00. E-rate will then refund 70% of the cost. Staley seconded the motion.

The sports co-op with Farrington for Baseball, Softball, Track, and Cross Country was discussed.

Wheeler made a motion to approve the Threat Assessment Team documentation for the Crisis Manual and the Threat Assessment Team consisting of team members: Wayne Stone, Jennifer Arnold, Nick Hendrix, Bryant Ross, Nicole Hayes, a school counselor employed by Frank-Jeff, a school psychologist employed by Frank-Jeff, as school social worker employed by Frank-Jeff and the Field School Resource officer Allison Morrison. Schnautz seconded the motion. The motion passed without opposition.
Mullinax made a motion to go into closed session at 8:04 PM. Schnautz seconded the motion.

Staley made a motion to enter into regular session at 9:15. Schnautz seconded the motion.

Staley made a motion not to renew the employment of Aaron Pemberton as Teachers Aide for the 2020-2021 school year. Schnautz seconded the motion.
