City of Mt. Vernon issued the following announcement on April 25.
Starting Monday, April 27, Republic Services will resume their regular services. This means yard waste pick-up will begin again, and bulk item pick-up can be scheduled through them to be picked up at your home.
All trash must still be bagged and inside the trash receptacles. They will not pick up any trash outside of the receptacles.
