Franklin County issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
All scheduled court cases in the Franklin County Circuit Court which have a court date of Monday, October 19, 2020 through Friday, October 23, 2020 are postponed and will be rescheduled through notice provided by the Circuit Clerk of Franklin County. Any delay occasioned by entry of this Order shall not be attributable to either party.
The Office of the Circuit Clerk of Franklin County will remain open during this period.
For the period of Monday, October 19, 2020 through Friday, October 23,2020 any default or emergency matters will only be scheduled through the Circuit Clerk and heard by approval of the presiding judge.
If you are an attorney or litigant and have a pending matter in the Franklin County Circuit Court which is scheduled for hearing during the period from Monday, October 19, 2020 through Friday, October 23, 2020, you may check the status of the case either by contacting the Franklin County Circuit Clerk at (618) 435-9800 during normal business hours or via www.judici.com.
