Village of West City Board met Nov. 23

The Board Meeting was called to order by Mayor Ron House
Roll Call: Ron House, present, Dale Watkins, present, Linda Sullivan, present, Bill Baker, present, Darren Romani, present, Gordon Rice, present. Also present was Ron Giacone, Attorney, Sherry Mix, Clerk and Cindy Rudloff, Treasurer
Recognition of those in the audience who have complaints, problems, request for permits, etc. None
Appointment of Personnel. Motion made by Darren Romani, second by Gordon Rice to appointment Gary Little as Dispatch Supervisor. All Board Members present voted yea – motion carried.
Motion made by Darren Romani, second by Linda Sullivan. Gary Little is to assume the position as of December 6, 2020 unless he becomes available prior to that date. All Board Members present voted yea – motion carried.
Establish Compensation: Motion made by Darren Romani, second by Gordon Rice to approve Resolution 365, setting the salary and benefits for Dispatch Supervisor. All Board Members present voted yea – motion carried.
Revies dismissal of the Fire Chief: A copy of the Letter dated November 16, 2020 referencing reasons for his dismissal was given to each Trustee and in that Letter the time and date of this Special Meeting was stated so that he could attend. Matthew Warren was not present for this meeting.
Executive Session of the Board: Time In: 6:10 P.M.
Motion made by Linda Sullivan, second by Darren Romani to go into Executive Session. All Board Members present voted yea- motion carried.
Appointment of personnel, establish compensation and review the dismissal of the Fire Chief:
i) Appointment of personnel – see above 5)
ii) Establish compensation - see above 6)
iii) Review dismissal of the Fire Chief No Action
