City of Mt. Vernon City Council Met March 15.

Public Forum Rules of Participation
Participants wishing to address the City Council on matters listed on the agenda or on any other matter directly relevant to the business of the City of Mt. Vernon shall do so during the Public Participation portion of the agenda. Each person wishing to speak during the Public Participation portion shall sign a Speaker's List at the meeting prior to the start of the meeting providing his/her name and the topic to be discussed. Speakers will be recognized by the Mayor in the order the speaker's name appears on the Speaker's List. Public participation portion of the meeting shall be limited to five (5) minutes per person. All participants are expected to exercise common courtesy and follow any rules of order established or announced by the Mayor and/or City Council.

9-A On Permission to seek qualifications for updating the City of Mt. Vernon IEPA Waste Water Five Year Plan, engineering for the waste water project, as well as the 2022 Waste Water IEPA application
9-B Permission to see qualifications for updating the City of Mt. Vernon IEPA Drinking Water Five Year Plan and prepare the 2022 and 2023 cast iron water main replacement projects and submit the IEPA applications

10-B First reading of an ordinance authorizing execution of a Quit Claim Deed
10-C First reading of an ordinance authorizing transfer of sanitary sewer main and storm water sewer main, and authorizing an agreement running with land and vacation of easements
10-D Resolution approving the Amended Mt. Vernon Police Department Jefferson County Multijurisdictional Narcotics Division Interagency Agreement and authorizing the Chief of the Mt. Vernon Police Department to execute said agreement
10-E Resolution approving an agreement between the City of Mt. Vernon and Round Table Design, Inc for professional services relating to a new L&N elevated water tank and authorizing the City Manager to direct and execute said agreement
