City of Christopher issued the following announcement on Apr. 9.
City of Christopher Spring Clean Up is May 10 and May 11.
Please do not put treasures to the curb no sooner than May 1st.
We don't want our town junked for any longer duration. Violations will result in fines.
Items NOT permitted are as follows: paint, construction materials, tires, garbage, yard waste, tree limbs, TELEVISIONS, DVD players, VCR players, computers and their components, fax machines and appliances.
Please make sure that treasures are placed in an organized fashion, as opposed to being strewn along the curb or it will not get picked up. We understand that people will pilfer through your items, but it is up to you to ensure it is suitable for pick up.
Spring clean up is the time to get rid of toilets, mattresses, unwanted furniture and toys.
