Rend Lake College issued the following announcement on Sept. 23
Warriors, get into the festive fall spirit this October with the Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Students are welcomed to pick up a paintbrush and create their own kooky design.
Everything will be set up in front of Warrior Way on Oct. 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Paint and supplies will be provided by RLCares so just show up and have fun! During the rest of the week, students, faculty and staff will vote on the decorated pumpkins, and winners will be announced at the end of the week for prizes.
