In a recent Facebook post, Illinois state Sen. Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) shared her visit to a Waltonville Veterans Day event. The visit was in addition to other activities that she publicized on social media as well.
"The students of Waltonville really know how to celebrate their veterans," Bryant said on Facebook. "Rep. [Dave] Severin and really appreciated the invitation to attend the luncheon."
Bryant also went to Woodlawn for their Veterans Day ceremony.
"Woodlawn Veterans Day ceremony yesterday," she said on Facebook. "A great way to say, 'thank you for your service.'"
Additionally, Bryant wished two of her siblings a Happy Veterans Day on her personal Facebook page and shared it to her official Facebook page.
"Happy Veteran's Day to 2 of my siblings," she said. "Thank you for your service. Kellie Courtney Crowe, TJ Courtney."
In the Nov. 8 general election, Bryant ran unopposed in her efforts to continue serving the residents of District 58.
