Christopher Unit School District #99 Board of Education met June 23.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
President Joe Anderton called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. He asked that everyone stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call: Anderton, Bradley, Fourez, Hobbs, Janello, Stephens and Wilson. Absent: Fourez.
A motion was made by Janello and seconded by Stephens to adjourn to Executive Session at 5:55 pm. All those in favor, please signify by saying aye, those opposed like sign. Absent: Fourez. Motion passes.
A motion was made by Janello and seconded by Bradley to return to Regular Session at 6:01 pm. All those in favor, please signify by saying aye, those opposed like sign. Absent: Fourez. Motion passes.
A motion was made Stephens and seconded by Hobbs to approve the Consent Agenda:

c: Treasurer's Report
Roll call vote: YEA: Anderton, Bradley, Hobbs, Janello, Stephens and Wilson. NEA: none. Absent: Fourez. Motion passes. 6-0
A motion was made by Hobbs and seconded by Wilson to employ the following extra-curricular positions for 2025-2026 as presented:

A motion was made by Wilson and seconded by Hobbs to employ Shelby Rodgers as a K-8 Social Worker. Roll call vote: YEA: Hobbs, Janello, Stephens, Wilson, Anderton and Bradley. NEA: none. Absent: Fourez. Motion passes. 6-0
A motion was made by Janello and seconded by Bradley to employ Elizabeth Loyd as an Elementary Education Instructor. Roll call vote: Janello, Stephens, Wilson, Anderton, Bradley and Hobbs. NEA: none. Absent: Fourez. Motion passes. 6-0
A motion was made by Janello and seconded by Stephens to adjourn the Regular School Board meeting at 6:05 pm. All those in favor please signify by saying aye, those opposed like sign. Motion passes.
