There were 42 Asian students enrolled in Jefferson County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Asian students made up 0.8% of the 5,488 students in Jefferson County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the least represented ethnicity.

Among the 14 districts in Jefferson County, Mount Vernon School District 80 recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 28 students.
