There were 422 multiracial students enrolled in Jefferson County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that multiracial students made up 7.7% of the 5,488 students in Jefferson County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the third most represented ethnicity.

Among the 14 districts in Jefferson County, Mount Vernon School District 80 recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 247 students.
